The project
Replace the queue with a digital register
Launched in December 2023 for the following enrollment cycle, Anótate en la Lista moved requests for available school places into an online register. Families could join a waiting list without queuing outside individual schools.
MINEDUC contracted Tether Education for the original platform. This case study covers that 2023–24 implementation; families should use the ministry's current service information for today's process.

Let families request places at public and subsidized private schools through an online register.
Manage waiting lists
Give schools a shared digital process for recording requests and managing available places.
Respect registration order
Support offers according to the recorded order of requests and the applicable admission rules.
