Prashant is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, San
Diego, and a research affiliate of BREAD, CEGA, CERP, and NBER. His research
is in development economics, with particular interest in early-life conditions,
gender, and human capital accumulation. He and Christopher have collaborated
on studies of universal pre-Kindergarten and the long-run consequences of
early-childhood interventions.
