The project
Help applicants respond before the deadline
Teachers choosing posts face uncertainty about where they are likely to receive an assignment. The intervention sent personalized feedback while applicants could still revise their choices.
Reports combined a non-assignment risk warning with recommendations of more achievable posts. ConsiliumBots developed and implemented the feedback with the Inter-American Development Bank for the Quiero Ser Maestro competitions.
What the work involves
Make risk visible
Explain when an existing application list leaves a teacher at risk of receiving no post.
Suggest feasible alternatives
Identify teaching positions where the applicant has a better chance of assignment.
Deliver advice in time
Send the report through SMS and WhatsApp before applications close.
Research & implementation
A completed intervention with a research record
The documented deployments cover 2021–2022. The IDB working paper and the personal research page provide the empirical analysis; this project page explains the service and implementation behind that work.
