Rigissa Megalokonomou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Monash University (Monash Business School) and a Research Affiliate at CESifo, GLO, and IZA. She obtained her PhD from the University of Warwick in 2016 and previously held lecturer positions at the University of Queensland. Her applied-microeconomics research addresses policy-relevant questions in education, gender, and labour economics, and she coauthored ‘The STEM Major Gender Gap: Evidence from Coordinated College Application Platforms Across Five Continents’ with Christopher Neilson.
