Oscar Landerretche is a full professor in the Department of Economics at Universidad de Chile’s Faculty of Economics and Business, holding a PhD in economics from MIT and an undergraduate degree from Universidad de Chile. He works in macroeconomics, monetary and political economy, and development, founded the university’s Master’s in Public Policy program (2004), and chaired the board of the state copper company Codelco (2014-2018). He is a coauthor with Christopher Neilson and Jose De Gregorio on ‘Another Pass-Through Bites the Dust? Oil Prices and Inflation.’
