Marco is an Associate Professor of Public Finance at the University of
Cagliari and a researcher at CRENoS, born in Cagliari, Italy. He
earned his PhD in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2018.
He is an applied microeconomist with a focus on incentives in public
organizations — selection, staffing, and worker preferences in
shaping public-sector productivity — and on education choices and
decision-making under risk. He and Christopher are coauthors on
the
Italian-context teacher quality / education paper.
