About
Jonathan is an Associate Professor of Economics at Georgia State University, holds the W.J. Usery Jr. Chair of the American Workplace, and serves as a faculty director of Georgia Policy Labs. He earned his BA at Tufts and PhD in Economics at Boston University, then worked as a Policy Research Scientist at the College Board before joining GSU. His research focuses on the behavioral and institutional factors that influence college choice and completion, with publications in the QJE, Journal of Labor Economics, JHR, and JPAM. He and Christopher are coauthors on the QJE study of sibling spillovers in college and major choice across four countries.
