Elena Mattana is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University and a fellow of the TrygFonden Child Research Centre. She earned her PhD from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2013 and held postdoctoral positions at the Universite Catholique de Louvain (CORE) and the University of Chicago before joining Aarhus in 2017. Her research spans labor and education economics, including school choice and student aid design, and she is a coauthor with Christopher Neilson on ‘Queuing for Segregation: Evidence from Access to Childcare in Copenhagen.’
