David Hansen (David Russell Hansen) is a Lecturer in the Department of
Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working in development
and labor economics. He co-authored “The Gender Gap in Mathematics:
Evidence from Chile” (Economic Development and Cultural Change, 2016)
with Prashant Bharadwaj, Giacomo De Giorgi, and Christopher A. Neilson,
an administrative-data study of the math achievement gap between boys
and girls in Chile.
