About
Christine is an Economist at the RAND Corporation. She earned her BA in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences at Northwestern and her PhD in Public Policy at Harvard in 2020. Her research focuses on labor and public economics — how students and workers navigate education and labor-market pathways, including the effects of school counselors, siblings, and personalized guidance technology on educational attainment. Her work has appeared in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, Journal of Labor Economics, and Journal of Public Economics. She and Christopher are coauthors on the QJE cross-country study of sibling spillovers in college and major choice.
